homemade mullberry vodka --> good!
Quick review of today.
I had to meet up with Armine before going to work to get a present for one of the newish co-worker. We had no idea what to buy, so decided to get some things that 99% of girls will be happy to get - that is skin care, mask, hand-cream, etc. Of course I was late. We arranged to meet at 11... But i was talking to Michael and he was explaining how to get electricity from a potato and how to make a spud gun. How could I have missed such a lecture?! I suggested him releasing a book "zzvanq useful applied science". Anyway. At 10.55 I was having the morning coffee. At 11.15 I was at the destination (practically impossible thing :D). We got everything and were to move to work. We almost reached the opera station. Suddenly a guy stopped us and asked if we spoke english. He went into ecstatic raptures about the fact that we did.
guy: oh, how very great! can you please tell me where i can change my money?
Irene: as you could have guessed at an exchange point :D You can find it at Abovian street. And of course you don't know where it is, right?
guy: uhh no.. how can i get there?
Irene: everything's clear with you. *in armenian* Armine? should we walk him there?
Armine: yeah :D well we'll arrive a bit late at work but it's ok.
Irene: OKay. We'll get you there. Come with us.
guy: oh thank you very much! And excuse me that I caused so much inconvenience. You changed your path because of me. I just couldn't find anyone who'd speak english. A friend of mine speaks turkish but he couldn't come with me.
Irene: oh, yes of course! turkish would be of great help *giggles*
guy: *seriously* unfortunately I don't speak turkish.
Irene: lucky you! people will not throw stones on you or beat you :D I'm kidding. But if seriously nobody here speaks turkish so don't worry. I suppose it's your first visit?
guy: yeah! i like it very much! Yerevan is a lot like big European cities. I've been to Germany and Italy and I must say I'm quite impressed!

Irene: mhm... don't do it when you are alone and avoid doing it in general. It's *very* special.

guy: what do you do? do you study?
Irene: we do.. at different places. oh btw, Armine studies tourism and wants to be a guide, so Armine you can get some experience right away :D
Armine: well I take guide courses now at the national art gallery. And if I do well at exams I'll be allowed to work as a tour guide for a month!
Irene: i think you can be a guide starting from today :D
guy: lol oh it's very nice of you to guide me to the exchange. Are we at least close?
Irene: here you go *shows with the hand at a store*. Go inside and turn to the left. Have a nice day. Bye-bye
guy: oh but I owe you a lot! ..

we turn to go. Then decide to take the other way and suddenly see the guy walking out of the store and wandering around
Irene: jeeze he will get lost among 3 pine trees! Hey! go *into* the store! OK. *just* follow us! there you see? it's written "exchange"
guy: oh thank you! oh i just.. thank you! i thought it was..
Irene: bye-bye!
we left laughing and got to the work.
After work and a dinner I decided to organize a bath for my parrot in the bathroom. But when I brought him in and he understood what I was to do, he flew away, hit himself against the wall and fell into the bucket with... a chloride solution. Luckily for the dumb bird he stayed on the surface by flapping his wings and I easily found him by the sound and rescued when he was about to drawn. But I didn't know what was in the bucket. Then I felt the strong smell and it kind of struck me that it wasn't just water in the bucket. So I put him under the cold streaming water. Now he's not on talking conditions, sits on his perch and stares at me in an angry way. The good thing is that he kept silence for a long time and let my ears relax, and that his eyes weren't affected by the solution. Good bath..

mya-vu! tchika indzi nman (zzvanq)
OK.. a new post.
How am I to describe infinite amount of things that took place in finite number of days? Complicated..
Well first of all 22-27 Jul has been the second greatest week in my life. But it will take me too long to describe as absolutely everything was perfect. We didn't even mind the summer heat. I guess I'll simply have to post the photos. Well I will if I don't forget all about this blog again :D.
In a week or so I'll be back to uni. OMG I just don't fancy it at the moment. Uni seems smth so distant now and I just can't imagine taking all of the dumb subjects which I don't need along with the ones that are important. Tststs smth tells me that there will be some classes missed. For example German :D. And smth tells me that I'll have much fun getting on professors' nerves. It's the last year and I'm going to spend time on what I really need, that is programming and C# in particular.
And oh I have to get back to any physical activity like dances, yoga or just anything. I already feel the lack of it all and am turning into a chess horse again. Though at the moment it's due to my laziness, not lack of time. When there's too much spare time I get lazy and usual things require much more time because I slow down. When there's no free second I manage to do everything :D.
in Oct it will be a year since we met. OMG Michael was able to stand me for a year! Tsts what a great stamina! Of course it's due to his being a bigger zzvanq than me :D:D:D. Then in January... I need a lemon *now* to change the facial expression (--> :D ). January will be a very important time.
I'm up to smth new and quite unusual to me. But I can't post it here what it is, as mr PP will investigate, and he must not find out until it's ready. But yea, when I told Anya, she thought I had a fever while Mary said it's a great thing.
Reading "picture of Dorian Gray" in english. I must say it's a great book and the way it's written is very fun and very British :D.

Summer time!
mhm, we'll be together next month! June will fly by very quickly due to exams.
yes exams :D german. me, Mary, Alex, and Anya have got 8 of 8 points. what can i say about the exam? "hahaha".
yesterday me, Anya and Mary wrote short essays on 9 topics. we were !studying hard during the whole year. Well, in fact Mary has done much more than me and Anya. I usually skipped one lesson during the week and went to work instead. Anya would skip either one of them too. not speaking about doing homeworks etc :D. During the very rare times when Alex attended he would usually get some sleep at the lesson as he would have worked all night. of course my german got worse and worse with every day as i started simply forgetting it. However, it started being difficult for me to talk and express my thoughts. Yesterday when Mary said a long sentence in German on spot, i was like "oh wow". Anyway. we were working "hard" and when half of the whole was ready decided to have a break. me and Mary played HARD BubbleTrouble (really hard, much harder than we did german :D). disgusting game i must say. when you feel like the brain is switching off you decide to play for a minute. but it's never a minute - you want to get to the next level every time and see its design. Mary was really good at this game and i was kind of new with it, so it was quite funny. Guess where from did she get this game? from our uni :D:D. i guess mr petrossyan had to entertain himself. :D.
after we were done with writing, we went home. in the morning we arrived at uni a bit later and found out that none of us had read anything from what we had written. Alex read the topics and it was about it. We went to exam, got our marks and the professor told Alex "yes, i see you have worked hard and i appreciate it a lot" hahaha. haha. ha. lol. it would be wonderful if all of the exams were to be taken orally. i think we have a special talent of talking, not necessarily on the subject if the topic :D.
the student has studied only one topic "the lice". he goes to the exam and pulls a paper with topic. His topic is "the sheep". he says "A sheep is an animal that has wool. Wool is perfect place to live for lice. A louse is an insect belonging to ... class of insects ...". And he tells everything he knows about lice. the professor asks to take on more topic. the second topic is "the fish." the student says "the fish doesn't have wool. So it can't have lice. A louse is an insect belonging to..."

english exam
great just great.
topic: c# and java compared
yesterday instead of reading the report (or whatever) i was making the poster, as they weren't going to let us use the projectors for uncanny reasons. it would be ok if i at least knew the contents of the report. it consists of 12 pages. guess how much i have written on my own? 3-4 sentences in the conclusion. the rest was copied out from various sources, even the introduction. the topic was interesting to me but of course professors from the english chair would understand absolutely nothing. So i knew - whatever i'd have in those pages, they'd still listen, nod whikle i'd be speaking and look in a concentrated way at charts. i could say "java and c# are functional languages used for programming flash" or "java was created by microsoft after c# virtual machine could not satisfy the needs of the consumers". so i couldn't feel enthusiastic about the whole thing. Another reason for it was this poster thing. just a waste of time.
so today i read the introduction and the first part of the report in the taxi. then i arrived at the cafeteria, met Anya and we started making her poster. in between i read some things from here and there on language specification. then i reread these parts already during the exam while others were presenting their projects. when it was my turn, i just started talking about programming, these 2 languages in particular, about things which weren't in the project at all like history of these languages. Also, before going to uni, i was talking to Michael, and he was explaining some things on javadoc, spec language, etc. I used it all :D.
then i decided to speak about delegates. i looked at my professor and said "delegates can be regarded as function pointers *looking into her eyes, kind of nodding*" she nodded and kind of smiled as if it was familiar to her.
same things were happening with Anya and Alex. Anya was speaking about "creating web pages" and she had only finished with the introduction, when they stopped her and asked to go to the conclusion part. Alex had "file system". in the end the professor asked "what is the advantage of linux?" we all kind of imagined what would happen if Alex gave a full answer :D
good point: we had much fun :D

some students study these things during the whole semester... some study the same things during days left between the exams :D. we know that we are mean and zzvanq students :D
*yawn* ok let's see what i have to do with this work.. mmm Michael will come online in ~0.5 h. as long as we communicate in english mostly (not taking into consideration the PP-PI language), i can say that i'm getting ready with the english test :D. mmmmm yes and as long as he's the best programmer in the world, i can also say that i'm getting ready with java, php, mysql exams :D.
*makes a PP face* no more distraction. yes. mhm.. mmmm... july... :D...... hmhmhm. cactus. cacti rather (at my desk). and one zzvanq flying cactus at home. cacti don't like rain. if it rains in a minute, i will be a cactus at the exam.
