anticipation of the trip

oh my god i just can't wait to go back to Armenia! there isn't much time left and a lot has to be done both here and there and needless to say that it's stressful. we also want to move after our trip so we are looking for houses, setting appointements, ... oh god i just want to be on a plane past the point of taking care of all the little and big things.

i can't wait to see my family, my friends, my relatives - all the wonderful people left in sunny Yerevan. now it's a different world to me - bright, colorful, and warm. it seems like i will be awakening from a long dream and living for 2 weeks a crazy hectic social life. i'm just wondering how to make ends meet time-wise - each and every one wants their own bit of our time and attention. seems to me i'll be up early in the morning every day and going to bed late late late.

my aunt is taking a vacation to spend some time with us, my uncle is coming to visit from Russia with his wife and their daughter who i'm going to meet for the first time! and yet there are little special things - almost like traditions that need to be done. for example going out shopping with mom and then having a gin-and-tonic at an open-air cafe. just us two, just like it used to be every saturday. then there is going to "Jazve" with Mary for morning coffee and waffles. then there is going to the swimming pool with aunt, which can be substituted with a spa. though i still need to go to the swimming pool.. i promised to my trainer i will not just leave and never be heard of ever again :)) then there is hanging out with Alex, Ira, Anya, Vahick at Alex's office with a couple beers, and hanging out with them at the "Texas" bar. then if Alex has a concert obviously we will go. if we are lucky and there will be a latino party (with latino dances) that we will go too. and i do need to walk around Yerevan at a later hour with Mary and take some good photos... well i guess not only in the evening. there is a hike to go to with my aunt's and mom's friends... and oh there is so much more! and i'm not even counting the amount of visits we will have to pay.

and oh god! i need to hang out with Helen have some girl talk with her while walking around Yerevan! we have to share all the latest gossips and things! geeze i haven't talked to her forever!

i'm ready to start packing :))) we are going through moscow.. it doesn't sound great on one hand yet on the other it's so interesting to me. last time i was there was in 1996 and i don't remember anything about the airport. i hop everything will go smoothly and we won't lose luggage :))

and haha there are smaller things i can't wait for.. mom said she will make us breakfast every morning and aunt said she will make us dinner every day. i don't know how about every day dinner at home with all the visits it sounds impossible but mmmmm i'm in a great anticipation of aunt's thai chicken. usually Michael loses weight every time he goes to Armenia.. i don't know about this time - everybody will be feeding us :)) and you can't decline home-cooked dinner because people will think you don't like their cooking and will be very very sad :))

this visit is not about showing Armenia to Michael, it's about people...

i think i will actually want to go to my university too, to see my crazy math teachers, funny informatics lecturers, and whoever else. i hope Mary will join me on this quest and we will giggle and have fun!

poor Michael in one word. it's gonna require a tremendous amount of energy from him :)) he will need a vacation after our vacation :))

i can't wait can't wait! sooooooooo excited!!!
